Skateboard brands have been trying to manufacture stronger and lighetr decks for the past few years! 2008 will be another year of discovery of new technologies and that is precisely what we will see in this article.

Almost: The first  über we had tested was a limited model that was nogt aiming toward large retailers, but it is now certified that Almost has developed the über technology for the mass market. Let's see if the decks will be as expensive as in our test.

    We already talked about the über technology a year ago but here is today the first Almost board test,  the 1.0 version. The gear : board Almost über technology model 1.0 Rodney Mullen pro model limited edition 500 copies. This is number 212. The drawing : there is no real drawing but whatever,it's an experimental board wich means it was conceived in order to study its behavior. The series for the public aren't released yet.

We presented you the Impact Support technology a few months ago and as promised, we are testing it today. Here it's the Greg Lutzka 's model (Milwaukee's rider ) that i'm riding The drawing : not exactly a drawing but more like circular visual effects representing the carbon discs. I'm gonna explain it later but the discs are made to distribute the forces inside the deck while landing so we now understand better why these circles.I find it quite nice and original but that's just me.
