After the test of my Lockwood French deck, and the DGK the month before, we switch this month to the European and Spanish gear, more precisely with a brand getting bigger and bigger in france .... and for good reason, the Spanish Nomad skateboard arrived on the french market 3 months ago and have imposed their presence with:

• the test of Dam's Nomad Henry Sanchez ,
• sponsorship of events such as Go Skateboarding Day / Free Tibet in Paris.
• their growing in the french skateshops  .
• or even their Vodka tour organized last August in Russia

Let's get back to the board ...

The drawing :
On the nose: we see marked a "yo raps" with the initials NMD TV. It seems that the designer had fun with MTV / Nomad TV but the "yo raps" written in a funny way, I do not know where it's coming from.

On the tail: a small pink logo Nomad skateboards, marked with "limited edition" below. This little sentence always make me laugh - as for lakai Limited Edition - in the sense that all products are limited edition ...... but the rare factor is something different.

The mid part: NO MD with a diamond instead of the O. Pure class! At one point I wondered if there was a co-branding with Diamond but no.

The black background: actually it is not totally black but is rather a black light / dark black alloverprint .

The finishing is perfect without pouring painting as you could see on the Birdhouse Black 6. As a matter of fact you can see on the pictures of my test that it holds incredibly well with slides. (like Girl painting)

I find this design very well done because it is simple yet very flashy ... Everyone who saw the board asked me what model / brand it was. And those who saw me with this board + Diamond T-shirt found me ubber classy 
The shape:
The nose and tail have almost  the same shape, although the tail is shorter (very slightly)
The nose goes back quite high compared to the tail but this is not disturbing at all...It's even better for nose slide.
Length is "middle size" therefore perfect for my 180 centimeters of muscles. I have to bend over to catch the smaller boards when I slap the tail on the ground.

After 2 tests of us boards let's go back to European gear with a very much talked about brand in France, especially since their video, but we never had the chance to test their gear yet .... and for good reason, the Spanish Nomad is taking over the french market these days.
