Habitat Inhabitants with Silas Baxter Neal, Danny Garcia, Fred Gall, Austyn Gillette, Khalsa, Molinar, Janoski ,Tim O 'Connor, Ed Selego, Steve Durrante, Kerry Getz
The first Habitat video was called Mosaic and was already a great success. That's why the second video of the brand was really awaited. Ok the preview of the video in Paris screwed up but the video is far to be screwed.
The first one to go is the last pro, Silas Baxter Neal that only wants one thing , show us what he's got in his opants.
A very dynamic skate with remarkable flip back and back tail over handrail landed so easily. Some good speed and amplitude and his crooked to back tail in image.
After 3 min , a second part kicks off with some crazy wallride like for example flip front wallride or wallride hippie Jump. A fakie tré in Barcelona as last trick
Not much line in the end but some serious hammer
Next part is Danny Garcia that released 2 videos (éSpecial et Habitat), like many riders this year.
He doesn't do ultra technical tricks but as an incredible ease to do lines.A smooth music and many images from Barcelona.
Be it in nollie or switch, Danny loves pop shove it front nose grind.
His line in short under the sun is simply wonderful.
Flip back tail flip out as last trick
Next is Fred Gall but before seing him riding, we see images of destruction and falls. His only line with a blunt to banks is not bad at all but the rest is mostly curb, curb and more curb.Ok he has a killer level, especially in nose blunt, but we get a bit bored sometimes.
Austyn Gillette, is the new amateur whom i personnaly never saw riding.
Not bad music but especially an incredibly easy way to approach spots with for example a switch feeble shove -it in the middle of his lines
Not many spots except for LA and Barcelona.
Beautiful switch tré 3 blocs in Barca , switch big spin front 3 plat 3 plat 3 and a 360 back in Pudwill style to conclude his part.
Guru Khalsa travels a lot more than Austin : Moscow, San Antonio, London, Barcelona....
a very beautiful nollie back switch 5-0 revert in session , back smith very well handled, and a perfect flip back fakie nose grind to fakie.
Like with most riders these days, he does too much nollie.
Followers are Tim O 'Connor & Ed Selego.
The first one to kick off in curb with some heavy flip back fakie 5-0 pop out but a horrible switch varial flip. Some very good ideas in curb with a alley oop pop shove -it backside 5-0 & a back tail 270 front out....Only 1 minute of ride and then it's Ed's turn.
Without any surprises, many images from florida. As gino did a long time ago, he lands a nollie 270 front to back tail ....Hats off !
Nollie 180 front 3 flat 6 and we're done with them.
I knew Steve Durrante (Tony B's favourite) but i've never had the chance to see any part of him . A guy that has such ease in switch heel flip that he can land a switch heel flip bluntslide in session.
And he's original with a switch back lip 270 front or a alley oop switch pop shove-it to 5-0. To conclude he destroys the spot next to Billy Rohan's place with a switch heel front out of this world.
Kerry Getz is the last and it's quite logical because he's Habitat's veteran.
It starts with a mini session that doesn't come close to Dave Bachinsky's.
a nice beau flip front sad.
Street wise, some big flip, heavy 360 front, some not really incredible lines and 2 ollies to conclude.A not really attractive part, but what is cool is that there aren't many known spots
Very well chosen music for Raymond Molinar. As Janoski is regular but prefers riding goofy .Switch flip before or after each trick without any problem.A flip front switch 5-0 alley oop revert came out of nowhere and Raymond's trick in image
We can say it: an incredibly technical part.
Already seen a week ago in Nike Nothing but the truth video , Stefan Janoski aka king of switch
Some flip front and some switch flip always longer , a flip back tail in France and a superb tré to fakie.
Be it in curve or in flip, he loves alley-oops ( turning on the side that is the least natural ).He shows once again that he is the true king with a switch flip crooked rail.
Very long legs so a lot of pop.
"My favourite part "
Video running time : 35 min
Some technical skate with Molinar & Durrante, Stylish with Garcia & Janoski and brandnew with Durrante & Gillette. The rebirth of Alley oop revert's & Alley oop shove-it .
For the ones that don't like this kind of video with technical skateboard, curb wise only Fred Gall is working hard. A remarkable artistic work and a soundtrack that i'm already downloading right now.
